Pet Grass
Wheatgrass is not only beneficial for you, but also for your furry and feathery family members! Cats and dogs both like to eat grass outdoors to aid in digestion and sooth upset stomachs. Wheatgrass also acts as an anti-inflammatory, helps with detoxification, and can even help improve their coat. Hamsters, gerbils, birds, and other pets also benefit from eating wheatgrass. Some pets may prefer it to be juiced and mixed with food or water.
While providing essential nutrients and a high chlorophyll and carotene content, wheatgrass also contains high amounts of anti-oxidants, live enzymes, fiber, and vitamins E, C, and K.
You can expect two “growths” from your live tray. Once the grass is 10-12″ tall, you can cut any remaining grass. It will regrow once more if watered daily.
NOTE: Wheatgrass is only sold in live trays that require ambient lighting and a light watering daily. This is a subscription only product at this time. Used trays will be collected on subsequent deliveries. Please contact us if you have any questions!
